Dunstall Park Greyhounds became the new home of greyhound racing in the West Midlands in 2025, following the relocation of racing from Perry Barr. While the Wolverhampton venue represents a new chapter for the sport, it continues a proud racing heritage that has entertained generations of greyhound racing fans across the region.
Today, Dunstall Park combines the excitement of live greyhound racing with modern hospitality and entertainment, ensuring the tradition of greyhound racing in the Midlands continues for future generations.
In 2026, Dunstall Park and Wolverhampton Racecourse made history by hosting the UK's first-ever dual horse racing and greyhound racing fixture at the Lady Wulfruna meeting, showcasing the venue's innovative approach to raceday entertainment.
As we celebrate 100 years of greyhound racing, we look forward to creating new memories while honouring the sport's rich history and those who helped shape it.
To celebrate 100 Years of Greyhound Racing, Dunstall Park will be hosting the Greyhound Board of Great Britain 100 Years On Track raceday on 24th July, featuring a special 1920s-themed race night that pays tribute to the year greyhound racing first arrived in Britain.
As part of our month-long celebrations, we're also honouring the year 1926 with an exclusive restaurant offer throughout July. Guests can enjoy a three-course dining package for just £19.26 per person, combining great food, live racing and a unique opportunity to celebrate a century of sporting history and a free commemorative gift.
